A pilgrimage for the party animals, Goa is notoriously famous for its crazy nightlife. Night parties in Goa are too dope and the raves here are unlike anywhere. Even if loud music and crazy parties are not your cup of tea, you should still check these out at least once.
Head to these places for epic parties in Goa –
1. Curlies
The party night is on Thursday here and the entry is free. Located on the rocky and hippie beach of Anjuna in Goa, Curlies is actually a pretty happening spot for partying with friends. Possibly among the most popular hangout spots in Goa, it has become synonymous with the hippie lifestyle, laidback nature, and freedom that the destination offers.
2. HillTop
You’ll find backpackers, locals, old school Goa hippies who have been coming here for 30 years, and domestic Indian tourists altogether. It’s really not an “exclusive” vibe – people are welcoming and laid back at these things. The biggest parties are organized on Sundays from 5 pm to 10 pm and on Christmas and NYE, the parties are on throughout the day. It does cost to get in! The cost is anywhere from 500 to 2,000 rupees depending on the party. Most of the amazing trance parties here are a little expensive. The DJ’s here are internationally known, they are some of the most amazing trance DJ’s and people travel here just to see their favorites perform. HillTop is up on the big hill in Vagator. It’s been around since 1976!
3. Shiva Valley
This epic place is also on Anjuna beach. It is right next to Curlies and is one of the best places to enjoy trance music. Shiva Valley is flocked by tourists all through the year. And while you are there visiting, don’t forget to try the delicious seafood that they have to offer. On Tuesdays, they have their big party which everyone goes to. This starts around 5 pm and there is a cover charge.
4. Chronicle
Chronicle is also on Vagator Cliff but down the cliff a little bit. It has levels and has amazing views. Chronicle isn’t really known for its trance/psy but has all kinds of electronic music like techno and deep-house. Chronicle is also a restaurant and has a shop inside. I guess you could say it’s a little more upscale party place. It mostly attracts international clientele and stays open until the wee hours of the morning.
5. Club 9 Bar
It’s a different type of place on Vagator Cliff. It has some outside parties but also has an inside space which is a little dungeon and it’s soundproof. It definitely has that real “trance” vibe though and a super cool place to check out. They get DJs here from all over the world. It’s near a lot of hostels and guesthouses, so tourists tend to pop in here for parties. A perk of this place is you get amazing views of the Arabian Sea.
6. Silent Noise
Silent Noise in Palolem is definitely the one with the wildest nights and craziest parties. You are provided with wireless headsets that you can wear and switch to your own taste of music ranging between a number of DJs and soundtracks. The parties are held on every Saturday and are an experience that must not be missed. The best part about the Silent Noise parties is that they allow the reveler to enjoy the vibe with the kind of music that they wish to listen to!
7. Leopard Valley
Located in the green and serene locales of Palolem in Canacona, South Gia Leopard Valley Goa is one of the unique night party spots in Goa which is situated in the laps of a jungle quarry with all the facilities you need to enjoy the evening at a nightclub. The thick foliage and the canopy of the trees certainly provide a fresh and different perspective on partying. The entire lane in Baga, where the pub is located is popularly called Tito’s lane. Due to its great ambiance and a great selection of DJs, you would come across huge queues outside the Tito Pub and restaurant.
