#60DaysOfSummer – Spiritual Journey to Dharamshala

Dharamshala

If you’re looking to go on a vacation that is deeply fulfilling spiritually, we recommend heading to Dharamshala in Himachal Pradesh. The Tibetan government in exile led by the 14th Dalai Llama has been here since the 1960s. With gorgeous Buddhist temples and some churches near town, Dharamshala may be the perfect getaway for those of you who are spiritually inclined.

If you’re a bit of an adventurer, there are a number of trekking trails near the town with a spectacular view. You can also head to Bhagsu Falls and St John’s Church in the Wilderness if you’re in the mood for exploring Dharamshala’s surroundings.

HOW TO GET THERE

Book a cab from New Delhi to Dharamshala.
