Jaipur , also popularly known as the Pink City, is the capital of Rajasthan state, India. Historically rendered as Jeypore, Jaipur is the former capital of the princely state of Jaipur. Another noteworthy building is Sawai Jai Singh's observatory, Jantar Mantar.
